Elevate M.I.A works with the youth of Miami-Dade County in discovering what career path our youth sees for themselves. We strongly believe in the power of goals, and how at times, it is the goals that drive individuals to persist in what they have put their mind on.

The purpose of this is not to have our youth set on a limited career path, but rather to make our youth think about the future as something exciting and something worth working toward. Discover Your Career Path is the first element in the Elevate M.I.A program and it provides our youth with the tools and understanding they need to set goals.

 

One of our three pillars, Create, is the skill that Miami's youth develops in Discover Your Career Path; it is the ability to envision a goal, plan the steps to achieve the goal and having the understanding of how to achieve any goal that our members have.
